| Scope of the program | The goal of the Sheridan College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning Diploma in Visual & Creative Arts is to give students the information and abilities they need to pursue successful careers in the visual arts. With a focus on drawing, painting, digital media, and design, this curriculum gives students extensive training in a variety of artistic fields, giving them a versatile skill set. The field of visual and creative arts is expanding significantly in Pakistan and many other nations due to factors such as increased global connectedness, cultural interchange, and the growing significance of creative industries in economic development. An increasing number of countries are calling for qualified visual arts workers as they realize the importance of creative industries in promoting innovation and boosting cultural capital. A growing number of galleries, art festivals, and design studios are springing up in Pakistani cities, including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, reflecting the country's growing interest in art and design. | Program entry requirement | Suppose an applicant has an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12) and senior-level credits at C, U, M, or O designation (or equivalent), including one Grade 12 English course (ENG4C or ENG4U) and extra needed courses. In that case, they may be admitted to Sheridan as full-time students. High school in Ontario: The first-semester midterm results from grade 12 are taken into consideration while making admissions decisions. If a student is enrolled in all needed courses during the second semester of Grade 12, their Grade 11 final marks will be used in the admissions process. Many admission offers are contingent on passing all prerequisite courses by August 1.

| Post-study work opportunity | Canada's Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) program: After completing their studies, qualifying international graduates are permitted to work in Canada for a maximum of three years under the terms of this government-mandated scheme. To be eligible, your course of study must be from an approved educational institution, and you must apply for the PGWP as soon as you graduate. Even though NPU might not be on the list of approved universities, you should consider returning to Canada to finish your undergraduate degree or enrolling in a post-graduate program at one of the universities eligible for the PGWP |
