| Program entry requirement | A regular applicant is someone who has completed or will soon complete the requirements for senior secondary graduation or its equivalent and is a secondary graduate or secondary school student. This applicant must be registered at least one month prior to the start of the semester for which admission is sought—either fall or winter. Regular applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements: B.C. secondary diploma or its equivalent—a minimum of 60% in English 12 or an alternative. Even if you've scored less than 60% in English 12, English 12 First Peoples, or TPC 12, you are still eligible to enroll in the program's first year, provided you meet the other requirements. Fulfillment of the English admission requirements successfully during the first year of study can be done through various methods, including obtaining a minimum grade of 60% in English 12 or a comparable course. A mature applicant will be at least 19 years old and will not have completed a minimum of one year of full-time secondary schooling.
