| Program entry requirement | A C in English 12 or above, a passing grade on the English proficiency exam, or an IELTS score of 6.0 or above. It is advised that students enroll in ENG 104 during their first semester. In the first semester, students who do not have a band score of at least 60 in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking on the Academic IELTS, TOEFL iBT 20, PTE 50, or CAEL 60 will have to take ENG 104.
