Cardiff University

About University

Cardiff University is a government research platform of highly regarded British institutions in Cardiff, Wales. The sole Welsh institution in the Russell Group is the CU of Wales. CU, as the Institution of South Wales and Monmouthshire, came into existence in 1883. In 1893, it was admitted as a founding college of the University of Wales. Cardiff University Wales was granted the authority to award degrees in 1997, but it did not use them. In 1999, it chose its working name, and in 2005, it changed to this name legally to reflect its independence and the ability to grant its own degrees.

The University’s ranking is excellent as it owns the 151st position among the best universities in the world. In addition to this, the CU UK ranking is 2nd. Whereas, the University world ranking, often known as the Cardiff University QS ranking, is 166th. Another plus is the Cardiff University acceptance rate of 19.4%.

University scholarships are accessible to both national and international students.
