The University of Lincoln is a higher-studies research-based public institution based in Lincoln, England. Its root date back to 1861, gained university status in 1992 and received its current name in 2001. The principal campus is next to the Brayford Pool in the center of Lincoln. Graduate ceremonies occur in Lincoln Cathedral, and its satellite campuses are throughout Lincolnshire in Riseholme and Holbeach. Since Queen Elizabeth II began Lincoln’s first building on the Brayford Pool Campus, more than 90,000 students from 135 different countries have enrolled there.
