Bachelor of Art in Childhood & Youth Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in Childhood and Youth Studies at Carleton University is not a sub-discipline but an interdisciplinary program focused on understanding the lives and experiences of children and youth. It covers areas such as education, social justice, development, psychology, and the impacts of policy on young people. The program is important because it addresses the complexities of childhood and adolescence, including issues of inequality, mental health, and rights.
