Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at Booth University College is a flexible, innovative program within the Arts & Humanities, designed for students who wish to explore multiple academic interests rather than specializing in a single discipline. Interdisciplinary Studies is a sub-discipline that integrates knowledge from the arts, social sciences, business, and more, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability skills essential for success in a rapidly changing world. At Booth UC, students can design a degree that matches their career and intellectual interests by combining two disciplines: English, Psychology, Religion, Sociology, or Business. Students in the curriculum are given a solid base in arts and sciences, gain knowledge through doing activities, and integrate new skills through capstone projects. Students learn to articulate informed perspectives, conduct research, and analyze complex issues from multiple viewpoints. Graduates are prepared for diverse careers in business, government, public relations, social services, or further studies in law, ministry, or education. Booth’s small class sizes, collaborative environment, and emphasis on ethical leadership make it an ideal setting for interdisciplinary exploration and growth.
