Pearson Test of English (PTE): No section should be below 60, and a minimum score of 61 is required. A minimum of 110 is required on the Duolingo English test. The Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) requires a minimum overall score of 70, with no subscore falling below 60.

Program entry requirementTwenty-one credits of undergraduate-level coursework, three of which must be non-nursing credits, with a minimum grade of C+. Admission will be chosen based on the highest entrance GPA of the prerequisite above courses. A minimum grade of C+ in all compulsory courses with Standard Grading and a grade of MAS in all classes with Mastery Grading is required, along with a cumulative GPA of 2.67. Failure to comply with these conditions could lead to expulsion from the program. Before moving on to the following semester, students must finish all program courses in that semester. Re-entry into the program is contingent on the Program Admissions and Progressions Committee's approval and seat availability.

Part timeworkEntirely: During planned school breaks, such as the summer or winter holidays, international students studying in Canada are frequently permitted to work entirely.
