| Scope of the program | The Diploma in Criminology program at North Island College provides students with the academic understanding and hands-on training necessary to go into professions in community organizations, law enforcement, correctional, and social services. They also gain a deep comprehension of crime, criminal behavior, and the legal system. The field of criminology has seen tremendous growth in Pakistan and other nations in recent years as a result of the increased demand for qualified personnel in fields including community safety, legal services, law enforcement, and rehabilitation. The need for criminologists who can examine criminal behavior and create practical crime prevention plans is rising as countries deal with issues like organized crime, cybercrime, terrorism, and human trafficking.
