Massey University International Excellence Scholarship

Value:
The scholarship provides up to NZD 25,000 toward tuition fees, helping students reduce the financial burden of international study. The amount may be distributed over multiple years, depending on academic performance and program duration.

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants must be new international students enrolling full-time in an undergraduate program at Massey University.

  2. A minimum B+ average (equivalent to 75% or above) in previous academic qualifications is required.

Value:
Up to NZD 5,000 toward tuition fees, awarded as a one-time contribution for the first year of study.

Eligibility:

  1. Open to international undergraduate applicants enrolling in degree programs within the College of Sciences, such as:

    1. Bachelor of Science (BSc)

    2. Bachelor of Agricultural Science

    3. Bachelor of Environmental Science

    4. Bachelor of Food Technology (Hons)

  2. Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance in high school and meet the entry requirements for their chosen program.

  3. Candidates should exhibit a clear interest in scientific research, sustainability, or technology-based disciplines.

Application Process:
This scholarship does not require a separate application. All eligible students are automatically considered when submitting their admission application to Massey University.

Postgraduate Scholarships at Massey University

Massey University Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship

Value:
Up to NZD 10,000 as a tuition fee reduction for one academic year.

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants must be international students applying for a postgraduate diploma, master’s, or research degree at Massey University.

  2. A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (equivalent to a B average) is required in previous undergraduate studies.

Value:
Up to NZD 15,000 toward tuition fees.

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants must be international students applying for a postgraduate program offered by the Massey Business School.

  2. A strong academic background (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 or equivalent) is required.

  3. Preference may be given to applicants with relevant professional or managerial experience.

  4. Students must meet Massey’s English language and admission requirements.

Application Process:
Applicants must first receive an offer of admission into a Massey Business School program. Afterward, they can apply for the scholarship through the Business School Scholarship Portal, submitting supporting documents such as academic transcripts, a CV, and a brief statement outlining their career goals.

PhD and Doctoral Scholarships at Massey University

Value:

  • Full tuition waiver for up to three years

  • Annual living stipend of NZD 30,000
