Established in 1992, the institution of the West of England, Bristol is a public research institution situated around the city of Bristol, England. According to Times Higher Education, the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) is ranks 401st among universities worldwide. Entry Requirements

Entry onto undergraduate level 1: Bachelor of Arts/Science/Commerce (honors).

Entry onto undergraduate level 2/3:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in a profession (other than teaching): 
  2.  Bachelor of Law (LLB) • Bachelor of Engineering/Science in Engineering 
  3. Honours Bachelor of Technology program. 

International Baccalaureate: 30 to 33 points minimum

A-levels: AAB–BBC 

Postgraduate

 Bachelor of Arts/Engineering/Science with Hons (four years) with a 50% (2.7 GPA) score.

English Language Requirements

IELTS: 6.0 with no skill below 5.5 

TOEFL: A minimum of 17 in Speaking, 18 in Reading, and 20 in Listening and Writing are required for an overall score of 80 or higher. 

Postgraduate

IELTS: 6.5 overall, with 5.5 in each category

TOEFL: A minimum of 17 in Speaking, 18 in Reading, and 20 in Listening and Writing are required for an overall score of 90 or higher.

University of the West of England scholarships

International Student Scholarship

International scholarships can acknowledge academic distinction while offering some financial help to students in support of diversity. They encourage global education, recognize accomplishments, and give students a chance to succeed in the subjects they want to study.

 UWE Bristol offers undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses for a maximum cost of £4,000 (first year only).

Eligibility

It would help if you were an international fee-payer to qualify.

Awarding scholarships, a variety of factors will be taken into account, including but not limited to:

  1. course preference
  2. interview questions;
  3. academic performance
  4. personal statement
  5. references from academic institutions
  6. skills and experience
  7. place of residence

The University has complete discretion over the awarding of these scholarships.

How to apply

You do not need to apply to be eligible for an international student scholarship. Once an offer is made, the successful candidates will be notified and given a prize.
