Curtin University offers a variety of international postgraduate scholarships to help outstanding students. For qualified applicants, the Curtin International Scholarship offers tuition fee savings of up to 25%. International students’ financial obligations are lowered by additional scholarships, such as merit-based and nation-specific rewards. Curtin Global Merit Scholarship

The purpose of the Curtin Global Merit scholarship is to support students’ success in their chosen fields, promote academic accomplishment, and provide opportunities for them to pursue higher education. Over the course of the semester, successful students gets 20% off.

Eligible courses

All postgraduate degrees (master’s by coursework alone) are open to overseas students.

Eligibility criteria

This scholarship is available only to:

1. International, fee-paying, non-sponsored students of any nationality other than Australian.
2. Students who are pursuing a Curtin undergraduate degree course of a standard four (4) years duration or less, or a Master degree by coursework of two (2) years or less.
3. Students who will be undertaking study at a Curtin Western Australian campus (WA Campus) from a study period starting in July 2025 onwards.
4. Students who obtained the necessary Course-Weighted Average in the most recent and eligible course of study.

Through this award, qualified students can get a one-time credit of AUD $10,000 towards their course cost.

Courses that qualify

Any undergraduate or graduate degree that can be earned through coursework at one of Curtin’s international campuses.

Criteria for eligibility

1. International, fee-paying, unsponsored students of any nationality other than Australian; and have enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at one of Curtin’s global campuses.
2. Will be attending a Curtin Western Australian campus (WA Campus) starting in July 2025.
3. Will be attending Curtin WA Campus for at least a year (minimum of 200 credits).

Curtin Global Future Leaders Scholarship

Through the Curtin Global Future Leader Scholarship, Curtin University aims to provide overseas. Through this award, qualified students can get a one-time credit of AUD $10,000 towards their course cost.

Criteria for eligibility

The sole recipients of this scholarship are:

1. International students of all nationalities who pay fees and are not sponsored, with the exception of Australians.
2.  Enrolled in coursework for a Curtin undergraduate or master’s degree; will be attending a Curtin Western Australian campus (WA Campus) starting in July 2025.
3.  Will be enrolled for at least 1.5 years (minimum of 300 credits) at the WA Campus.
4.  Have earned a credit level or equivalent Course-Weighted-Average in your most recent and eligible course of study.
