Scope of the program	Prepares graduates for specialized professional, research, and advisory roles—such as coastal ecologist, marine researcher, environmental consultant, aquaculture coordinator, resource manager, and research/PhD candidate—across public environmental and fisheries management agencies, private-sector consultancies, environmental impact assessment firms, blue-growth aquaculture industries, and international research institutes.
Program entry requirement	Admission requirements are completed bachelor's degree or equivalent where either an integrated study of at least two years duration in biology/ecology or specialisation course of at least 80 credits in biology/ecology is included. A weighted average rating of C or better is required. 140 annual hours of English from Norwegian secondary school with the grade 4 or above. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of at least 550 for the Paperbased test, 213 for the Computer-based test and 80 for the Internet-based test. A score of at least 6.0 in the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) PTE Academic Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a score of no less than 62. Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE), Proficiency (CPE) or First (FCE), passed with grade A. Other approved documentation of knowledge of English at an equivalent level after individual assessment
