Academic: HSSC: Minimum 50% (Less then case to case)

Bachelor’s: 2.5 CGPA or equivalent (may vary by program).

English Language Proficiency

IELTS: 6.5 PG/ 6.0 UG or equivalent (may vary by program/university). Some universities may accept other tests like TOEFL or PTE.

EPL is also accepted

Intakes

Winter Semester (September/October): Most popular intake. Applications typically start in March with deadlines in July.

Summer Semester (February/March): Fewer programs offered. Applications usually start in Mid-September with deadlines in December.

Study in Poland with scholarship

Even though Poland has some of the lowest tuition costs in Europe, obtaining scholarships can considerably reduce the study cost in Poland for international students. Following are the Poland’s scholarships available to international students:

  1. Government Scholarships:
  2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) jointly sponsor the famous Banach Scholarship Program. This program is intended for students from developing countries who are pursuing master’s degrees in engineering, science, and a few humanities subjects. It pays for housing, tuition, and a monthly stipend.
  3. Another NAWA program, the Lukasiewicz Scholarship Program, is intended for students from countries with limited resources pursuing master’s degrees in technical, agricultural, and precise sciences. It provides advantages akin to those of the Banach Scholarship.
  4. Scholarships Exclusive to Universities:

International students can apply for scholarships offered by numerous Polish colleges. The amount and requirements for eligibility of these scholarships may differ. It’s important to look into the particular scholarship programs that the institutions of your choice provide.

Admission Checklist

  1. Completed university application form.
  2. All academic transcripts (officially translated into English or Polish).
  3. Passport/Travel document.

  8. Proof of financial support (Application Fee)
  9. Any other required documents depending on the University – Some universities may require additional documents like references or medical certificates.
  10. Legalization of educational documents is must for applying in University.
  11. Attestation from IBCC, HEC and MOFA is also mandatory before applying in university.

Bank Statement

  1. 10k to 12k Euros
  2. Bank statement: 6 months old
  3. Sponsor: Self or Parents

PSW:  9 months

Visa Information

Pakistani students require a national visa (D-type visa) to study in Poland for more than 90 days.  Legalization is mandatory for Polish visa applicants.

Visa application: Process time is up to 3 months

Book National Visa-D Appointment online => Fill the Application form link received via mail => Fill form & Print => Visit Polish Embassy in Islamabad => Submit Supporting Documents => Pay Visa fee & Biometrics => National Visa-D Application Outcome.

Visa Fee: 80 Euro

Visa Checklist

  1. Copies of documents should be in A4 format.
  2. Travel Document / Passport.
  3. Previous Visa history documents (if).
  4. Copy of return flight tickets.
  5. Visa Application Form: Completed online, printed with barcode.
  6. ID Photo (recent, white background, no headwear).
  7. LOM / SOP.
  8. Academic transcripts (legalized).
  9. Original certificate of admission confirmation at Polish institute.
  10. Verification of payment for studies provided by the educational establishment.
  11. Proof of accommodation in Polish (dorm reservation, rental agreement).
  12. Travel Medical Insurance: Covers €30,000+ in Schengen Area.
  13. Financial Means Proof: Original bank statements for the last six months covering of living expenses and accommodation (€ 180 / per month) and € 600 for return flight (if not booked earlier).
  14. Family Registration Certificate issued by NADRA.
  15. Proof of language proficiency.
  16. Photocopy of applicant’s national ID card.
  17. Photocopy of Passport data pages (the first and the last one).
  18. The Consular might ask for additional documents if found necessary.  
  19. The required documents have to be submitted in the original Polish or English language.

How to apply for the visa

  1. Gather all the required documents given in the Visa Checklist (Orignal) (Ensure they are translated into English or Polish and legalized)
  2. Go to e-konsulat and book your appointment (https://secure.ekonsulat.gov.pl/placowki/132/wiza-krajowa)
  3. Fill in the preliminary visa application form containing your basic data and the data of  the document
  4. You will receive an email containing a link to finish the visa application in its entirety if the data you entered is accurate.
  5. You have 48 hours to complete the full application. Complete the form, save it, and print it.
  6. Visit the Embassy in person along with all documents and filled out application form

  7. Pay visa fee of PKR 24,920/- at the Embassy
  8. The decision will be made in around 2-3 months
  9. After the decision, collect the documents from the Embassy
