The Institution of Calgary is a public research institution Situated in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The University of Alberta was founded in 1908, and the University of Calgary was founded in 1944 as its Calgary division. It became a separate, autonomous university in 1966. In the Q.S. World University Rankings 2024, it is rated #182. For undergraduate and graduate students, the University of Calgary provides a range of scholarships and awards. Description of the award
- Offered yearly to international undergraduate students who have met the university’s English language proficiency criteria and will be starting their first year of any undergraduate degree in the forthcoming autumn term. Renewable in the University of Calgary’s second, third, and fourth years, provided that the recipients maintain their international differential tuition charge payment and achieve a G.P.A. of 2.60 or above over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms.

- Foreign undergraduate students who meet the English Language Proficiency criteria and plan to join a Dino sports team in the upcoming fall term are offered yearly opportunities. Students who are neither Canadian citizens nor permanent residents and must pay international tuition are not eligible to enroll in The International Foundations Programme.
- Foreign undergraduate students who meet the English Language Proficiency criteria and plan to join a Dino sports team in the upcoming fall term are offered yearly opportunities. Transfer students must have a minimum G.P.A. of 2.00 or equivalent from another postsecondary institution. To continue my enrollment, I must maintain a full-time student status at the University of Calgary and have a G.P.A. of 2.00 from the preceding autumn and winter semesters.
- Tuition and mandatory fees up to a maximum constitute an award value maximum of $10,000.
- The university athletic director will nominate candidates; no application is necessary.
