Qualifications for the 2025 AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship in the United States
- Applicants must be enrolled in high school or secondary school and anticipate graduating by June 2025.
- US nationals and students studying in the US are not eligible.
- In addition to taking at least three HL subjects, an IB student should aim to graduate with a complete diploma.
- Three A-levels should be earned by British students after 13 years of study.
- Committed to serving the community, volunteering, and demonstrating leadership in the nation of origin.
- Students from varied, disadvantaged backgrounds who have faced numerous obstacles will be given preference.
- Regarding the language requirements in English
- The TOEFL IBT score must be 95 or above, with sub-scores of 20 or higher in the remaining areas and 24 or higher in the paper-based version.
- Additionally, students need to obtain at least 6.0 on the IELTS.
- The required score on the SAT Reading is 33.
- The ACT English score for students is 29.
- A PTE score of at least 65 is necessary.
- Duolingo scores of 120 or more, with each sub score being at least 110.
- All sub scores must be 169 or above, and the overall Cambridge Assessment English result must be 185 or higher.
