North Bay is home to Canadore College, an institution of applied arts and technology in Ontario, Canada. Air Base Property Corporation Entrance Award
Awarded mostly on the basis of academic distinction in the senior year of high school to a student who has graduated from one of the local high schools and is enrolled in their first year of an aviation program.
Canadore FIRST Entrance Award
Canadore College is providing two $5,000 merit-based scholarships in support of the FIRST mission to Canadian high school students who were members of a FIRST® Robotics Competition team throughout their secondary education. Candidates must be entering Canada from secondary school for their first postsecondary degree and meet all conventional admissions requirements in order to be eligible for this scholarship. To confirm membership in a FIRST Robotics Competition team, a letter from the secondary school is required.
