The provincial assembly enacted an “Act to establish and incorporate a university for the Province of Saskatchewan” in 1907.On March 19, 1907, it began the regional university with the stated intention of providing facilities for postsecondary learning in all of its fields and enabling everyone, regardless of race, creed, or religion, to benefit to the fullest. The major educational facility in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan is the U of S.
