Durham University

About University

Durham University was established by a parliamentary act in 1832 and received its royal charter in 1837. It is a coeducational, government-funded research institute in Durham, England. DU in the UK became the third-longest-running university in England after Oxford and Cambridge after becoming the first institution to be officially recognized to have existed for more than 600 years. Following its membership in the 1994 Group, DU in England is now a part of the Russell Group of British research universities. DU England was honored in 2018 with a Queen’s Anniversary Prize.

The University ranking is remarkable as it comes among the top 200 universities in the world with the 162nd position. In addition to this, 6th is the DU UK ranking, which is good. Also, the University world ranking, often known as the Durham University QS ranking, is 92. Another plus is the Durham University acceptance rate of 41%.

Durham University scholarships are accessible to all students. University graduation courses, including DU undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses, are of great value. Further information about the University tuition fees for international students is available on the website. The university facilities include accommodation, a gym, and a library.
