About University

St Mary’s University is a government-funded higher education institution devoted to the Catholic Church’s higher education mission. It is based in Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, in South West London. After being founded in 1850 to train Catholic school teachers, St Mary’s University of London was elevated to the status of a constituent college of the University of London’s Institute of Education in 1949. The community of students and professors at University Twickenham is vibrant and welcoming, and the school is committed to providing the best instruction possible across all of its disciplines.
