Wrexham Glyndwr University is a multi-campus research-based institution in Wales with all professional, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses available. After joining the University of Wales in 2004 and going by the name North East Wales Institute of Higher Education (NEWI), University received full university status in 2008. Owain Glyndwr, a medieval Welsh ruler, by having the institution bear his name. He offers in the early 15th century that universities establish all over Wales.
