- International students can receive up to $2500 in paid sick leave and maternity leave.
- MSc and PhD degree programs are offered in all faculties and all subject areas.

Qualifications for CDU RTP scholarships
To qualify for a scholarship with an RTP stipend,
- The candidate must be an international student enrolled in an authorized HDR program at an Australian higher education provider (HEP).
- The student cannot obtain additional assistance to support their essential living expenditures while enrolled in their course of study if their income is less than 75% of their RTP Stipend rate.
- Must not be receiving a similar grant or award from the Australian government that would have been used to pay for HDR tuition.
The application process (no application fees):
Prospective international HDR applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Charles Darwin University HDR team before being able to apply for scholarships and admission.

1. Copies of your academic records and certificates of post-secondary education (e.g., bachelor’s and master’s degrees).
2. Curriculum vitae (CV), including material that has been published.
3. A brief research proposal (three to four pages, 1500–1700 words) that describes the type of study you wish to undertake and goes into further depth on particular methodological approaches.
Documents that must be submitted with the online application
A strong personal or family declaration of intent authored by an experienced individual, a written affirmation from the supervisor (e.g., by email), etc.

Certified copies of all records pertaining to post-secondary qualifications, such as grade schemes, award certificates, transcripts of results, and, if required, translations into English.Proof of English language proficiency in the form of a copy of a passport containing personal and visa data.

Present Research Output Form (HDR37).
Thorough CV or resume with a list of publications.
Two report forms must be completed by your referees and submitted to the university at ([email protected]).
