About the scholarship
For overseas students with a track record of academic success and brilliance, CDU offers a small number of scholarships.
What you’ll receive
50% of the tuition for the entire course period is covered by the scholarship, which is applicable to undergraduate or graduate coursework degrees.
The scholarship cannot be transferred to another individual, semester, course, or year, and it is not refundable or exchangeable for cash.
Eligibility Criteria
- To start studying in S1 or S2 2024 (the intake they are offered first), the applicant must apply.
- The applicant must fulfil the academic and English language admission requirements set by the university for their selected course.
- The applicant’s highest completed qualification must have a minimum overall score of 95%.
- The applicant cannot be the recipient of another scholarship from a foreign or Australian sponsoring organisation.
Continuous Eligibility
The grantee must fulfil each of the following requirements in order to keep the scholarship:
- Keep paying international student fees as an international student.
- On or before the first day of classes each semester, they must pay their share of the tuition.
- Make significant academic progress each semester while keeping your GPA at or above 5.3 and avoiding failing marks in any of your subjects.
- Â Get approval to take a semester-long leave of absence, reduce their study load, or continue to attend full-time at 40 credit points (0.5 EFTSL) per semester.
Ongoing Eligibility
The recipient of the grant needs to fulfill all requirements to keep the scholarship:
- Maintain your status as an international student for which you must pay fees.
- On or before the first day of classes of each semester, they must pay their share of the tuition.
- Maintain a GPA of 5.3 and no failing grades in any units while making good academic progress each semester.
- Every semester, students must remain enrolled full-time at 40 credit points (0.5 EFTSL) unless they are granted permission to lower their course load or take a leave of absence.
CDU Global Merit Scholarship 2024 & 2025
About scholarship
New international TAFE, undergraduate, postgraduate (coursework), and higher degree by research students who fulfil the academic requirements at Charles Darwin University (CDU), Australia, and start in 2024 or 2025 are eligible to apply for the CDU Global Merit Scholarship.
What you are going to get?
The scholarship pays 30% of the tuition for specific courses and is applicable to CDU courses.

You don’t need to apply. After applying for a course that qualifies, candidates are automatically evaluated.

Dili International School Scholarship 2025
About the scholarship
Three students will be able to get funds for their three-year bachelor’s degree thanks to the scholarships. Throughout their Bachelor’s program, students will be required to pay the equivalent of AUD 13,750 a year. The remaining costs of tuition and housing at the CDU on-campus residence halls will be covered by CDU.
Value
Three (3) DIS graduates annually who fulfil academic admission and English proficiency standards will receive scholarships for tuition and housing, bringing the total annual fees paid down to $AUD13,750.
Requirements
- To study on campus, candidates must start any undergraduate program at CDU Darwin in Semester 1 of 2025 and study full-time.
- Applicants must fulfil the academic and English language admission requirements set by the university for their selected course.
- Candidates must be overseas students who have earned their ATAR and DIS Y12 certification.

The grantee must fulfil each of the following requirements in order to keep the scholarship:
- Keep paying international student fees as an international student.
- On or before the first day of classes each semester, they must pay their share of the tuition.
