The Joint Program in Journalism offered by the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) and Centennial College is a unique collaboration that combines academic rigour with hands-on professional training. This four-year program integrates theoretical journalism studies with practical media training. Students begin their studies at UTSC, focusing on foundational courses in journalism and media studies. Centennial College’s Story Arts Centre for intensive hands-on training in news reporting, multimedia storytelling, podcasting, and video production.
