Scope of the programStudents who complete Langara College's Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting program will have a solid foundation in accounting concepts, financial management, and business strategy, preparing them for success in a variety of international industries, including Pakistan. A degree in accounting can lead to employment as a financial analyst, auditor, tax consultant, or management accountant—all very significant positions in developing nations like Pakistan, where companies are in increasing need of individuals with extensive accounting knowledge. There is a growing need for qualified accountants who can handle complicated financial regulations and support organizational growth due to Pakistan's developing corporate sector and increased emphasis on transparency and compliance.
Program entry requirementPlease take note of the following academic requirements: To be eligible, you must meet one of the following criteria: 1. Completion of BC Grade 12 or equivalent, or be 19 years of age. AND One of the following is required: 1. Successful completion of English Studies 12 or equivalent (please refer to the note); 2. Successful completion of a post-secondary English or communications course for which Langara College awards transfer credit; 3. LET (Langara English Test) Level 2; 4. LPI (Language Proficiency Index) Level 4 with essay score of 24; 5. TOEFL (paper-based) with a total score of 550 or higher and an essay score of 4.0 or higher; 6. TOEFL (Internet-based) with a total score of 80 or higher and a minimum of 18 in Listening, 20 in Reading, 18 in Speaking, and 20 in Writing; 7. IELTS 6.5; 8. CAEL 60 overall with an essay score of 60; 9. Successful completion of LEAP Level 8; 10. ELA (English Language Assessment) 145 offered by Vancouver Community College (VCC) or 11. Successful completion of VCC English 099. Additionally, applicants who have completed 24 credits or more of post-secondary study must have a minimum CGPA of 2.3
