CategoryDetails
Scope of the programThe Diploma in Fashion Design program at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design is a specialist course that gives students the tools they need to succeed in the fast-paced fashion industry. A wide range of subjects are usually included in the curriculum, such as textile knowledge, fashion history, pattern making, garment construction, and design principles. Students gain knowledge of the standards of the fashion business, how to create their collections, and how to use a variety of tools and techniques that are necessary for a successful career in fashion design. Because of disparities in industry maturity, economic situations, and cultural influences, fashion design differs significantly between Pakistan and other nations. Pakistan's fashion sector is expanding quickly, with a focus on fusion designs that combine traditional and modern styles. Globally, the fashion design field is expansive and continually evolving. In developed countries, such as the United States, France, and Italy, the fashion industry is a significant economic force with established institutions, high-profile events like Fashion Week, and a strong market for both high fashion and ready-to-wear collections. These markets often lead global trends and are highly competitive, requiring designers to stay at the forefront of innovation and consumer preferences.
