A 2-year (120 ECTS) full-time master’s degree program taught in English at the Faculty of Science and Technology (Campus Ullandhaug). The program provides advanced training in understanding, assessing, managing, and governing complex technological, environmental, and societal risks. Students choose between two specialized tracks from the beginning of their studies: Risk Governance or Engineering and Technology, gaining critical competencies in risk science, crisis management, and resilience.

Scope of the program	Prepares graduates for high-level analytical, advisory, and managerial careers—such as risk analyst, safety engineer, risk manager, crisis management coordinator, and regulatory consultant—across the energy sector, transport, finance, health services, public administration, and international consulting firms, as well as eligibility to pursue doctoral (PhD) studies.
Program entry requirement	Academic requirement: Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) + 4 years university education or Intermediate Examination Certificate + 4 years university education.
