Which kind of degrees would you receive if you apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship?
You will receive the following degrees in the event that you are awarded an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.
When you first sign a study agreement with the relevant Erasmus Mundus Joint Master program, you will be able to indicate that you want to pursue one of the following paths:
- A joint degree, which is awarded by at least two higher education institutions as a single degree certificate.
- Multiple degrees (when two colleges within the organization award you at least two degree certificates).
Requirements
- To be eligible for the Erasmus scholarships masters, you must hold a bachelor’s degree. You must be in your last year of undergraduate study, if you are not enrolled in a master’s program.
- As an alternative, you can demonstrate a comparable level of education that is officially recognized in the nation that grants degrees. From a reputable institution or college, this equivalency normally equates to 180 credits or 180 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).
- In addition, you need to have nearly two years of experience working in the human rights sector or in your relevant degree. It can involve volunteer labour, internships, or full-time employment.
- You need to have taken internationally recognized exams like the TOEFL and IELTS. In these tests, you had to have received at least a 6, or upper secondary level.
- According to the guidelines of the University call for applications, the precise options may change every year.
Application Process
The ranking is divided into three parts:
- Academic competence (including English proficiency based on an overall assessment of requested documents);
- Motivation letter;
- Work experience and recommendation letters.
The aggregate of all three sections can provide a maximum of 100 points. The ranking is based on the final score assigned to each applicant.
