Major Entrance Scholarships & Awards

Application Period:

  • October 15 is when Fall Intake commences and ends on April 15
  • The spring intake period begins on February 15 and ends on August 15. The application period opens the year before the entrance semester.
  1. Students who applied to KPU for the first time in the spring or fall semester can apply for the KPU Major Entrance Scholarships, KPU Entrepreneurial Leadership Degree Full Ride Entrance Scholarship, and Donor-Funded Entrance scholarships.
  2. The Scholarships & Awards Selection Committee will rank and shortlist applications for entrance awards according to the requirements for each award. Before submitting your application, please make sure you have read the scholarship requirements and the list of supporting documents.
  3. Admission, confirmation of enrollment (minimum of 12 credits per semester), and the final grades of qualified candidates are required before the prize is disbursed.
  4. For continuation, a CGPA of 3.0 or higher is the minimum required.

KPU Major Entrance Scholarship

  • The President’s Scholarship ($30,000)
  • The Merit Scholarship ($7,500)
  • The Indigenous Entrance Scholarship ($7,500)

Note: Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) doesn’t offer traditional PhD programs. Universities typically offer PhD programs, while KPU is a polytechnic university focused on applied learning and professional programs.
