The Peel Trust Studentship

Details of Award: Award up to an individual maximum of £2,500 reserved for applicants aged 21 or over on the first day of the first term for which they are seeking assistance.
The Peel Trust Studentship (worth up to £2,500) is unique to Lancaster and is reserved for applicants aged 21 or over on the first day of the first term for which they are seeking assistance. Both UK and international students may apply, with applications assessed on the basis of academic merit and financial need.

Scholarship awards
- A scholarship of £5,000 for the first year of entry is available for students joining our undergraduate programs.
- A scholarship of £5,000 for the first year of entry is available for students joining our Postgraduate Taught programs.
- A scholarship of £8,500 for the first year of entry is available for students joining our MBA.
Who is eligible?
Undergraduate Awardees must achieve A*A*A at A level or equivalent.
For Postgraduate Taught Awardees with the exception of the MBA, please refer to the educational equivalences table.
Awardees for the MBA must achieve the equivalent of a UK 2.1 undergraduate degree.
Partially funded applicants for less than 50% of their fees would be eligible for this scholarship.

Scholarships are automatically considered as part of the programme application and will be conditional if the results are unknown.
Scholarship awards will be confirmed automatically for 2024 entry, throughout the recruitment cycle.

Lancaster University will offer a reduction in tuition fees for all taught Masters programmes for eligible applicants, determined by the level of undergraduate or postgraduate award achieved.

20% fee reduction for 1st Class Hons degree holders
10% fee reduction for 2:1 Hons degree holders
If you already hold a Postgraduate degree from Lancaster University.

20% fee reduction for Master’s with Distinction degree holders
10% fee reduction for Master’s with Merit degree holders
To be eligible for the Alumni Loyalty Scholarship you must either:
