The London School of Economics and Political Science is a public research institution located in London. It began in 1895. According to a recent study, LSE had the highest level of “world-driving” exploration among British colleges. However, it is ranked 27th in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 and 49th in the QS World University Rankings for 2022. The London School of Economics has one of the lowest dropout rates in the UK and has produced 16 writers and scholars who have won the Nobel Prize in economics. It is an 8.9% acceptance rate.

Undergraduate:

The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) is not acceptable as an entry qualification for LSE. You have to pass these diplomas.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB) Foundation Courses and Access to HE Diplomas are accepted.

 3A Levels: A*AA – AAB – AAA

IB:  37 points overall, with 666 in higher-level subjects

38 points overall 766 in higher-level subjects

Postgraduate

four-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution with an overall mark of 75 percent or a GPA of 3.5/4.
Two-year master’s degree awarded after a four-year bachelor’s degree with an overall mark of 75 percent or a GPA of 3.5/4.0 (for research program)

Application Process:

The student must apply for one of the taught master’s programs offered under the scheme
Students should secure admission to their intended program of study in the UK.
Applicants must simultaneously apply for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship.

The selection criteria for the scholarship are-

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship will cover the following expenses of the student:

LSE Undergraduate Support Scheme:

LSE Undergraduate Support Scheme is presented to international students who are not able to cover their financial requirements to study in the UK. It is awarded to students who wish to pursue any UG program offered by the London School of Economics and Political Science.
