Exceptions
- Privately sponsored students” will not receive individual Full-Fee Scholarships. Additionally, students supported by stipends awarded to a single person are not eligible for these scholarships unless a written agreement exists between the University and the Sponsor. Moreover, students recommended in grant proposals submitted to accredited funding organizations, where a formal application is undergoing peer assessment, are exempt from this requirement.
- Students who receive foreign government support are only eligible for Full Fee Scholarships if the University and the Sponsor have an MOU covering such awards.
- Normally, students who want to pursue a second (or subsequent) degree at the same level as their highest degree or lower than it will not be eligible for Full Fee Scholarships. However, in extreme cases, if the student can demonstrate a significant change in discipline and at least five years have passed since the first comparable award was received, they may be eligible for a scholarship.
Benefits
Offers a 100% tuition fee waiver, covering the cost of tuition for research students pursuing higher degrees at the University of Adelaide. Also, the waiver is valid for up to two years for Research Master’s degrees and up to three years (with a potential six-month extension) for Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
Note: The period of the corresponding stipend scholarship and the Full-Fee Scholarship match precisely. Besides that, in the event of a funding discontinuation for the stipend scholarship, the University retains the right to discontinue the associated Full-Fee Scholarship.
