The Institution of Calgary is a public research institution Situated in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The University of Alberta was founded in 1908, and the University of Calgary was founded in 1944 as its Calgary division. It became a separate, autonomous university in 1966. In the Q.S. Eligibility
- Accessible to full-time students enrolled in the Faculty of Graduate Studies thesis-based graduate degree program. Residents of Alberta must be students.
- Master’s students who have completed no more than 13 months of full-time study toward their degree are eligible for the award when it is given.
- Recipients must be PhD students who have completed at most 25 months of full-time study toward their degree at the time of the grant.
- Available to students who, when given the award, have completed no more than 25 months of full-time graduate program study and are transferring from a master’s to a doctorate program. The start of the Master’s program will decide the amount of time spent in the program.
