Norwich, England’s Institution of East Anglia, is a public research university. When it began in 1963, there was enough classroom space for about 1,200 students. We currently house more than 17,000 students. In the QS World University Rankings 2024, it ranks #=295th. In the list of Best Global Universities, the University of East Anglia is rated #330. The University of East Anglia (UEA) is listed in the UK Top 30 by the Guardian University 2023 guide and in the UK Top 25 by the Complete University Guide 2024. High School: Obtained after 13 years of schooling, you may be eligible for direct admission to undergraduate programs.

Postgraduate

Undergraduate degree holders are typically given preference while applying for master’s degrees. We require an equivalent to a UK 2:1 for the majority of courses. 

English Language Requirements

IELTS: 6.0 total with a minimum of 5.5 in each component

TOEFL: 79 total Reading 18 Writing 17 Listening 17 Speaking 20

Postgraduate

IELTS: 6.0 overall, with two components requiring a minimum of 5.5 and the remaining three requiring 6.0

Application Process

These prizes are intended to honor candidates who have been accepted into UEA’s program and can briefly and clearly describe how attending UEA will enable them to advance their field of study significantly. 

Bright Spark Scholarship Scheme 

Your scholarship will be deposited yearly into your specified account in years 1, 2, and 3 of your course. There will be one installment of £1000. Every academic year, in February, they will happen. A minimum of 25% of the total time equivalent (FTE) may be studied by part-time students to qualify for UEA financial support. Support will be provided by tuition paid; the maximum amount will not be more than the full-time equivalent.
