Located in Kingston upon Hull, a city in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, lies the University of Hull, a public research institution. It became a university in 1927 as the University College Hull. In terms of Best Global Universities, University of Hull is placed 732nd.  In the QS World University Rankings 2024, it is placed #=523. University of hull Scholarships

Fairer Future Global Scholarship

Award: 17 selected applicants will get a 50% tuition fee grant for the duration of their undergraduate studies at the University of Hull.

Eligibility criteria

For the Fairer Future Global Scholarship to be awarded, candidates must:

  1. have been given permission to enrol in a University of Hull undergraduate course.
  2. have not previously completed a degree programme in the UK.
  3. be categorised as an overseas student for the purpose of paying fees.
  4. not get financial support from a commercial or governmental sponsoring organisation.
  5. have finished the application for the Fairer Future Global Scholarship.
  6. have provided a recommendation from a high school instructor or counsellor for the scholarship selection process.

Chancellor’s scholarship

About this award

The Chancellor’s Scholarship, its flagship initiative, provides 10 individuals with excellent academic success and potential with a full scholarship covering their undergraduate tuition.

The merit-based program encourages individuals who have the potential to be exceptional undergraduate students both inside and outside of the classroom to study at Hull, with 10 full-fee scholarships available each year to UK candidates in all subject areas.

You must submit a written application (maximum 500 words) and a video (maximum 2 minutes) describing why you should be considered for one of the scholarships.

Eligibility criteria

The scholarships are available to Home/UK undergraduate students, and candidates must first demonstrate academic achievement and promise.

You must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program or an undergraduate course with an integrated Master’s. Foundation year and Hull York Medical School courses are ineligible for the Chancellor’s Scholarship.

Global Achievers Scholarship 2024

The Global Achievers Scholarship provides funding to postgraduate students who desire to contribute to the environmental sustainability and social justice objective.

Scholarships for 2024

  1. Scholarships are available from the University of Hull for anyone entering a postgraduate teaching degree full-time in September 2024.
  2. The winning candidates in each of the following categories will receive a tuition fee reduction worth £2,000 (GBP).
  3. Two Indonesian students enrolled full-time in any postgraduate teaching degree at Hull University.
  4. Four Vietnamese students are studying for a full-time postgraduate teaching degree at Hull University.
  5. Two Thai students enrolled full-time in any postgraduate teaching degree at Hull University.
  6. Two Pakistani students enrolled full-time in any postgraduate teaching degree at Hull University.
  7. Two Egyptian students enrolled full-time in any postgraduate teaching degree at Hull University.
  8. Two Kenyan students enrolled full-time in any postgraduate teaching degree at Hull University.
  9. Two Moroccan students enrolled full-time in any postgraduate teaching degree at Hull University.
  10. Ten Latin American students enrolled full-time in any postgraduate programme taught by hull.

Eligibility

In order to qualify for the 2024 University of Hull Global Achievers Scholarship, candidates must:

  1. own a passport and be a citizen of one of the participating nations for this scholarship.
  2. have been granted admission to the University of Hull’s postgraduate teaching degree program.
  3. possess met or are striving to meet the academic and English language proficiency standards for the postgraduate program for which you are applying.
  4. have finished the application for the 2024 University of Hull Global Achievers Scholarship.

Deadline

Applications for the scholarship must be submitted by midnight on May 31, 2024.
