The University of South Australia is a public research university in the Australian state of South Australia. It is a founding member of the Australian Technology Network of universities and is the largest University in South Australia, with approximately 37,000 students. The University was established in 1991, but our foundations date back to the latter half of the 19th century. It is ranked #=326 in QS World University Rankings 2024. It is ranked #363 in Best Global Universities and The University of South Australia is ranked 301 in the World University Rankings by Times Higher Education and has an overall score of 4.2 stars. The University of South Australia Fully Funded Scholarships 2024-25 for International students are awarded to high-achieving students worldwide.

International Merit Scholarship

Value

Recipients will receive a 15% reduction in their student contributions (tuition fees) for the duration of their chosen degree.

Scholarship criteria

1. Be a prospective international student.
2. Be eligible to study in Australia.
3. I not have accepted any other UniSA scholarship or bursary.
4. Meet standard degree admission requirements for the degree applied into
5. Have achieved the UniSA equivalent of a credit average (Grade Point Average (GPA) 5.0) or above in previous studies or have an offer conditional upon completion of an award with a Credit average
6. Meet the minimum English language entry requirements for the degree applied to or have an offer conditional upon meeting the English language entry requirement.
7. Automatically be assessed when applying for an eligible undergraduate (Bachelor) .

Scholarship conditions

1. Undergraduate Students: As a recipient of this scholarship, I can receive credit/RPL/Advanced Standing towards my program. However, I must have at least two years/72 units of study on campus with UniSA remaining.
2. International Merit Scholarship recipients must be enrolled full-time.
3. Scholarship payments (15% of tuition fees) is provided as a discount on successful applicants’ student contribution invoice (tuition fee) at the commencement of each applicable study period.
4. Scholarship recipients must maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.5 (or equivalent) to continue to receive the scholarship payments. 
5. The scholarship can only be deferred by the date of commencement onshore.
6. If students are undertaking any studies outside of Australia, the scholarship will only be applied once they can commence onshore study in Australia after borders re-open

International Merit Scholarships are not available to:

1. Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
2. Sponsored students (foreign government or Australian government) where a sponsor agreement has been signed with the University
3. Higher Degree by Research Applicants
4. Current UniSA students
5. Students previously awarded an International Merit Scholarship, except where they are upgrading from an undergraduate to a postgraduate qualification.

Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship

Value

Recipients will receive a 50% reduction in their student contributions (tuition fees) for the duration of their degree, or up to a maximum of four years of full-time study undergraduate

Scholarship criteria

1. Be a prospective international student.
2. Be eligible to study in Australia.
3. I not have accepted any other UniSA scholarship or bursary.
4. Meet standard degree admission requirements for the degree applied into
5. Have achieved the UniSA equivalent of a high distinction average in previous studies
6. Meet the minimum English language entry requirements for the degree applied into

Scholarship conditions

1. Recipients have to be  required to enrolled on a full-time basis.
2. recipients must maintain a Grade Point Average of at least 5.0 (or equivalent) to receive the scholarship payments.
3. payment will be received for 4 years
4. If the awardee’s overall Grade Point Average falls below 5.0, the 50% reduction will not be applied to the next invoice. 
5. (50% of tuition fees) is provided as a discount on successful applicants’ student contribution (tuition fee) invoices at the commencement of the relevant study period.

Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarships are not available to:

1. Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
2. Sponsored students (foreign government or Australian government)
3. Higher Degree by Research Applicants
4. Current UniSA students
5. Unsuccessful Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship applicants will automatically be considered for the International Merit Scholarship.

Business Career Development Grants

Value

Students will receive $1000 to go toward their professional development opportunity, examples include:a career development or professional skills course offered by UniSAan internship or industry practicuman international study tour to gain global experience and enhance career prospectsany additional professional education opportunity of choice approved by the Program Director.

This applies to students undertaking the following courses:

• Bachelor of Accounting
• Finance
• Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Finance
• Business (Economics, Finance and Trade)
• Selected Fast-track o Masters programs

How it work?

• Preference any of the specified UniSA programs above in your SATAC application.
• Successfully complete and achieve a minimum study score of B+ in Stage 2 Accounting, Economics, Specialist Maths or Mathematical Methods as recorded on your SACE Record of Achievement.
• Accept an offer for any of the above UniSA programs.
• Receive your congratulatory letter confirming details of your grant.
