Entrance scholarships

  1. They provide graduate entrance grants to new students starting their education to acknowledge exceptional academic performance and creative talent.
  2. For all graduate programs, it provides tuition waivers that are non-transferable and non-renewable to both domestic and international applicants upon acceptance.
  3. Applying for an entry scholarship is not necessary. The application process considers every submission, and the academic and creative merits of each determine which ones get chosen.

SSHRC Scholarships

The Master’s program of the Canada Graduate Scholarships Programme (CGS) grants $17,500 one-time, non-renewable prizes that are valid for twelve months at accredited Canadian universities only. Full-time applicants in Master’s programs in SSHRC-supported disciplines are limited to this status.

This program can be applied only after meeting the following requirements:

  1. The applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, be pursuing funding for their first graduate degree (Master’s or equivalent),
  2. When the grant is scheduled to begin, they must have completed up to 12 months of full-time graduate education. Still, all prior graduate-level coursework, regardless of subject area, will be considered when determining eligibility.
