UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLAR’S ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS
VALUE
From $20,000 to the maximum required for mandatory additional fees and tuition.
A living allowance may be offered to exceptionally talented students with demonstrated financial need to help cover their expenses.
In addition to the financing, the program includes support, such as:

Qualifications
Present high school students who achieve excellent grades and succeed in school clubs potentially qualify for this award.
Any undergraduate program during its autumn term accepts worldwide students for enrollment.
Academic Requirements
Candidates must earn at least 31 IB points, minus projected bonus points, OR grades in the 90% range.

The university values the scholarship as a portion of the actual tuition costs accrued by the eligible.
The funds will determine the per-unit rate for standard-graded courses. Each term will be set at between $70 and $100.
Eligibility requirements
Students who have not yet completed the minimum required units are eligible to enroll in SFU courses and pursue a first degree. The number of units they have earned, including transfer credits, will be greater than the number needed to graduate.
TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST HAVE
- Finished at least 30 units of regularly graded courses at SFU successfully to be eligible.
- A 3.90 or above overall grade point average (CGPA) at SFU.
- A minimum 3.50 term GPA during the final enrollment term.
- Participated in one of the previous three terms.
- Finished the last three terms of enrollment in standard graded courses at SFU with a minimum of 30 units completed. The last four terms will assess unit and term GPA eligibility. A letter from SFU’s Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) verifying the student’s registration with the Centre must be submitted by the student (CAL).
- You have to fulfill all eligibility conditions.
International, Co-op, and Graduate Students
- Graduate, Cooperative, and International Students
- Undergraduate international students are eligible in the same manner as domestic students.
- Students enrolled in cooperative education will be qualified based on standard program requirements. The scholarship does not cover the co-op tuition for job practicum courses. Course enrollment during a co-op semester may impact eligibility. Before starting classes and signing up for a co-op term, co-op students should consult an advisor regarding this scholarship.
This award is unavailable to graduate students, including qualifying, special, exchange, and exceptional students.
