Full-time returning third—and fourth-year students enrolled in a Bachelor of Commerce program are eligible for two scholarships at $1,500 each. Students must apply and maintain a 3.30 GPA to be eligible. Selection criteria include academic success and a track record of demonstrating a Christian commitment. The King’s University Foundation manages an endowment that provides scholarship funding.

Canadian High School Applicants
Award values are based on final (grade 12) high school averages.
- $2,000 Honours Scholarship: 80 – 89%.
- $3,000 Excellence Scholarship: 90 – 100%.
Home School Applicants
Home school applicants must obtain grades from standardized tests, such as provincial diploma exams, to qualify for entrance scholarships. If they fulfill this condition, they can receive the admission scholarships mentioned in the section above for high school applicants.
AP/IB Applicants
AP/IB student’s high school course grades determine their average for scholarship reasons. In that case, the automatic scholarship information for high school applicants will be identical to that found in the section above.
U.S. Applicants
$1000 Honours Scholarship requirements: A.C.T. total score of 28 or above.
S.A.T. combined average of 1270 or above (taken after March 2016).
$2000 Superiority Scholarship requirements: A.C.T. total score of 31 or above.
S.A.T. combined average of 1400 or above (measured after March 2016).
Computing Science Degree Applicants
Amount awarded: $2,400. To be eligible to enroll at King’s after high school, students must have earned at least a 75% average in math and scientific courses. King’s students are required to maintain a minimal Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) in the relevant academic year, 2.5% of the second-year

Award Disbursement Details
- Minimum course load requirements of at least 12 credits per term must be met before award disbursement. All Award funds are issued as follows:
- 50% of the total award value is paid in the fall term (typically September) and 50% in the winter term (normally January), and the remaining amount is applied to outstanding tuition and fees, if applicable.
- Recipients of awards are required to use them during the designated period and are not allowed to transfer them. The award amount cannot be applied to spring or summer sessions. Students who start in the winter semester will only be eligible for a partial prize.
