The award is available each year to a prospective ANU student who:
- Is a domestic or international student.
- Is studying in the first year of an undergraduate degree program at ANU School of Music.
- Is majoring/specializing in keyboard.
Receives a final selection mark of 70 or above at audition
Selection
Selection depends on the basis of applicants meeting the eligibility criteria. In addition, the successful candidate will be the applicant who, in the judgment of the committee, is deemed to display an outstanding level of musical ability and accomplishment in musical performance, as demonstrated at the audition.
How to apply?
- All applicants applying for admission through the ANU Admission Scholarship and Accommodation (ASA) Application System will be automatically on the consideration list for the award depending on their meeting the eligibility criteria and electing for scholarships.
- For International students and domestic students not applying via ASA, there is no separate scholarship application as students are automatically considered based on their meeting the eligibility criteria.
Dean’s International Science Excellence Scholarship (H2)
About this scholarship
The Dean’s International Science Excellence Scholarship is jointly available by ANU College of Science and ANU College of Health & Medicine. It is a prestigious scholarship award for the best international students from the Colleges’ institutional partners.

Eligibility
The scholarship is available each year to a prospective ANU student who is:
- An international student. Dependents of the staff of diplomatic or consular missions are also eligible; and
- Undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate studies at an institute that has an articulation agreement with the Colleges. Click here for the list of the Colleges’ articulation partners; and
- Enrolling at ANU for the first time in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program in the College.
- This scholarship is not available to students who have already commenced their program at ANU

Terrell International Undergraduate Scholarships
About this scholarship
To commemorate the contribution of Professor R D Terrell to international relations and international student affairs, the University has begun the Terrell International Undergraduate Scholarships to be awarded to international undergraduate students on the basis of their achievement in the first year of a Bachelor’s degree at The Australian National University.

Eligibility
The award is available each year to a current ANU student who:
- Is an International student; and
- Is studying in a Bachelor’s degree program at the University; and
- Has completed up to, and no more than, two semesters (48 units) in a Bachelor’s degree at the University and will enroll in their second year;
- Has achieved excellent results during the first two semesters in a Bachelor’s degree at the University.
- Students transferring to the University from an external institution are not eligible.

There is no application as students are automatically in the consideration list depending on them meeting the eligibility criteria or conditions prescribed under the Eligibility section.

Eligibility
The scholarship is available to a commencing ANU student who:
1. defines as an overseas student under the terms of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 and does not hold a 995 visa (unless enrolling in an eligible postgraduate program).
2. Has received an offer of admission to commence at the University in an eligible program (excluded programs listed above).
3. Meets the conditions of the program for which they have received an offer of admission including the requirement to be onshore for some components (if applicable).
4. Has not received a scholarship previously for the same level of study.
Selection
Selection depends on the basis of academic merit. Qualifications submitted for admission to the University will be converted to the common scale which will determine an applicant’s place on the merit list. Eligible applicants with multiple qualifications will rank according to the qualification as the basis of admission.
