About University

The University of Southern Queensland is a moderate regional university with its headquarters in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. USQ College came into existence in 1969 as the Queensland Institute of Technology’s Darling Downs campus. The college first offered study abroad and rural Queensland community programs in 1970. In 1971, the institute turns into The Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education. In 1990, it changed its name to the University College of Southern Queensland, and after two years, in 1992, it turns into the University of  USQ.

The University’s ranking is also satisfactory as it owns the # 607 position in Best Global Universities. Also, the University of Southern ranking in Australia is number 1 for graduate starting salaries. In addition to this, the USQ world ranking, often known as the University of Southern Queensland QS ranking, is # 651-700. 69% is the University of Southern Queensland acceptance rate which is another plus.
