Ontario Tech University (OTU), informally Ontario Tech is a Canadian public university for higher education and research in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The institution began operations in 2002 with the primary location of the university residing on roughly 160 hectares (400 acres) of land in northern Oshawa, with a smaller satellite campus in downtown Oshawa. The university is a co-educational educational institution with seven academic faculties.
