A well-recognized institution in the UAE is the University of Dubai.UD, accredited nationwide by the Minister of State of Higher Education and Scientific Research, was the initial private institution in the United Arab Emirates to receive ABET-CAC accreditation. Because of its Computing and Information Systems (BS) curriculum in 2006 and the initial private university in the UAE to receive the AACSB global recognition in 2009. Dubai University continued to hold this certification for another five years, until 2019.
