London Metropolitan University is a government educational research institution of higher learning in London, England. The London Met is a well-known name for it. The university’s history began in 1848. This university came into being in 2002 as a result of the union of London Guildhall University and the University of North London (formerly known as the Polytechnic of North London) (previously known as the City of London Polytechnic).
