University of Strathclyde
The University of Strathclyde is a higher research government educational platform based in Glasgow, Scotland. University of Glasgow is the second longest-living university in the city that came into existence as the Andersonian Institute in 1796. The University United Kingdom was granted a royal charter in 1964, making it the first technological university in the country. UOS Scotland is the third-largest university in terms of enrollment, with students and faculty hailing from more than 100 different nations. Its name is derived from the former Kingdom of Strathclyde. UOS in Glasgow is the first and only institution to have won Times Higher Education’s University of the Year award twice, in 2012 and 2019.
