The University of Pennsylvania is a research-educational, private business institute and a core member of the Ivy League in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Found in 1740, making it the fourth longest-running tertiary education facility in the country and one of the world’s leading universities. The University of Philadelphia is among the nine colonial schools established before the American Independence Proclamation.
