State Scholar Plus Scholarship
 DePaul offers the State Scholar Plus, which shouldn’t accept first-year students in the fall. This Scholarship is available to students who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. They are on par with the top public university in Illinois in terms of affordability, offering merit reward packages up to $100,000 (over four years). To be Here’s, you must meet the following criteria:
- The deadline for our Early Action Program is November 15.
- At the time of admission, get a GPA of 3.75 or above (on a 4.0 scale).
- Be in the top 10% of your class when you graduate.
- If your official high school transcript does not include class ranking information, a guidance counsellor or school counsellor can provide a supporting letter indicating ranking.
- Foreign Learner: In the event that class ranking is unavailable, an ACT or SAT score of 1300 or an ACT score of 28 (or higher) is required.
Scholarships for DePaul Freshmen
Amount of Award: $9,000 to $25,000.
When you apply to DePaul, you are automatically considered for one of our four academic scholarships: the Deans’ Scholarship, the St. Vincent DePaul Scholarship, the DePaul Scholars’ Award, or the Presidential Scholarship. There’s no need to submit a separate application for these awards. However, to receive preferential consideration, be sure to submit your application by November 15th. You’ll be notified about any scholarship awards in your admission packet.

Provost’s Achievement Award
Amount of Award: $3,000.
The Provost’s Achievement Award is given to students who have been chosen as Semi-finalist’s in the National Merit Scholarship Program. This award can be paired with an academic scholarship and is renewable for an additional four years.
Art Scholarship* Award Amount: $10,000
You must be accepted to DePaul as a first-year student by February 1st and declare Art, Media, and Design as your major in order to be taken into consideration. Apply by visiting depaul.academicworks.com and logging in with your Campus Connect login credentials. You must first complete the “General Application” before uploading a portfolio with ten digital files: one with your name and resume and nine digital photos, one for each of your artworks. The deadline for all submissions is February 1.
Every digital picture should be saved as a JPEG file (100 dpi, no more than 7 x 5 inches) with your name, the work’s title, the medium, the size (HxWxD), and the year it was finished. Your name, contact details, schools attended, art exhibitions you’ve visited, honors you’ve won, and any other art-related activities should all be included in your resume. Use QuickTime and give the file a title that follows the previously mentioned rules if you upload a video file. PowerPoint-formatted submissions will not be accepted.
*Please be aware that a leadership or service scholarship cannot be coupled with an art scholarship.
