Centre for Precision Health Masters Scholarship

Candidates with a master’s degree in research are being sought after by the Center for Precision Health (CPH) to work as research assistants. The scholarship includes a stipend of $6,000 per annum, paid in two installments each year for a maximum of two years full-time.

ValueWith a Master of Medical and Health Science by Research course offer, prospective and existing students can apply for three (3) year scholarships valued at $6,000 each.

To qualify for this scholarship, you need to have fulfilled the following minimal requirements:

  1. Have completed their undergraduate studies by the end of the 2023 semester;
  2. Have received an offer to enroll in the ECU Master of Medical and Health Science by Research (J90) program, which will start in 2024 without conditions.

*You may apply for this scholarship if you have applied for course entry but have not received an offer. Your application will be evaluated if you receive an unconditional course offer by the February 2, 2024 scholarship’s closing date.

You are not eligible to apply if any of the below apply:

  1. You’ve already been awarded a second scholarship.
  2. Should you enroll in the Master of Medical and Health Science by Research program after the first semester of 2024

How to apply

Prospective candidates are urged to send an email expressing their interest to [email protected].

  2. Give a 200-word or less explanation of why you are applying for this scholarship.
  3. Your academic transcripts are included in your curriculum vitae (CV).
  4. Proof of fluency in the English language (this requirement applies only to candidates whose prior coursework was not in English).
  5. Any documentation proving previous research experience.

Terms and conditions

  1. Recipients of this award must maintain high academic standing and be continually studying full-time in the Master of Medical and Health Science by Research (J90) course.
  2. Awardees (HDR students) are expected to participate actively in Center for Precision Health initiatives.
  3. This award will be forfeited if you transfer to a different ECU project or course.

2023 and 2024 International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

International applicants from specific nations who wish to apply to ECU for Master’s degrees are eligible for the International Masters Scholarship. With the scholarship, you can save twenty percent on the first year of your master’s program at ECU. The scholarships are available to prospective international students who want to study at Edith Cowan University.

Eligibility guidelines

  1. possess citizenship in one of the nations mentioned above;
  2. be an international student and not an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen
  3. study at ECU Mount Lawley, ECU Joondalup, or ECU South West (Bunbury) Campus;
  4. between March 6, 2023, and August 13, 2024, refrain from collecting government scholarships or industry sponsorships other than those handled by SACM.
  5. Get an offer to pursue a postgraduate degree; meet the requirements set forth by ECU for program admission and start classes on campus in Semester Two, 2023, Semester One or Two, 2024, or December 2023 (summer school); and enroll in one of the following postgraduate courses:

Upon approval of your application for an ECU course, our Admissions Office will promptly assess your eligibility for this honor. It is optional to submit another scholarship application.
The Admissions Office will send you a separate letter on your scholarship and a Letter of Offer for your course to confirm your accomplishment.

Executive Dean’s 2023 and 2024 Master of Engineering Scholarship

International students who have demonstrated solid academic accomplishments in their previous studies are eligible to apply for the 2024 Executive Dean’s Scholarship. The scholarship is immediately available to all qualifying applicants when they enroll for a specific postgraduate degree offered by the School of Engineering. For the length of the course at ECU, the scholarship grants a 20% tuition cost discount.

  1. be an international student, not a citizen of Australia, a permanent resident of Australia, or a citizen of New Zealand;
  2. possess a commendable degree of academic success from your prior coursework, as evaluated by ECU;
  3. not be receiving corporate sponsorship or government scholarships other than those sponsored by SACM;
  4. receive an offer to enroll in the Master of Engineering (I59) or Master of Engineering Science (J63) program at ECU Joondalup between March 6, 2023, and August 13, 2024 (some course components may be delivered online due to travel restrictions). 
  5. You must meet ECU’s admission requirements for the program and begin your studies during Semester Two, 2023, November 2023 (Summer School), or the 2024 Intake.

How to apply

Upon approval of your application for an ECU course, our Admissions Office will promptly assess your eligibility for this honor. No requirement to submit another scholarship application.

The Admissions Office will give you a Letter of Offer for your course and an additional letter regarding your scholarship to validate your achievement.
