Falmouth University is a specialist public university based in Falmouth and Penryn, Cornwall, England. Falmouth School of Art began operations in 1902, united with Dartington College of Arts in 2008, and received a university designation in 2013. It regularly appears in the top 20 UK university topic rankings, with a strong national standing in the field of art and design.   2. International bacula rate Diploma or Certificate with a minimum of 24 points
  3. A-levels – typically 104-120 UCAS points

Excellent honors: a bachelor’s degree or experience that is applicable (APEL)

IELTS Undergraduate: 6.0, with at least 5.5 in each subject area.

Postgraduate: 6.5, with each skill requiring a minimum of 6.0. 

Undergraduate PTE Academic: Pearson Academic 55 (minimum 51 in each of the four components).

Postgraduate: Pearson Academic 60 (all four components must have a minimum score of 55).

Undergraduate TOEFL score: 80, with at least 19 in each of the four sections.

Postgraduate: 88 points, with at least 21 in each of the four categories.

International Talent Awards

About the award

The following £3,000 awards are available:

  1. 20 x undergraduate scholarships for Bachelor’s degrees.
  2. 10 x postgraduate scholarships for master’s degrees.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the International Talent Awards, you will need the following:

1. Qualify for the International fee rate (it does not include EU students with settled status or UK students living outside the UK).

2. Be new to Falmouth University in 2024/25.

3. Please note alums or existing students are not eligible for this award.

4. 2023/2024 deferred offer holders will also be considered for the scholarship if they have not studied with us before.

5. Be entering directly into the first Year of the course.

6. Hold an offer for a full-time on-campus Bachelor’s or master’s course (not online) starting in September 2024.

7. Have received an offer by April 12, 2024, at 23:59 BST.

8. Have sent in their supporting statement by April 14, 2024, at 23:59 BST.

The only people who will be considered for the award are those who have received an offer by April 12, 2024, at 23:59 BST, submitted their supporting documentation by April 14, 2024, at 23:59 BST, and meet the eligibility requirements.

How it’s awarded

Each award for undergraduate courses will be given according to the following standards:

1. Previous experience and potential are outlined in the supporting statement.

2. Interview performance, if there is one (including a portfolio, presentation, or performance where applicable), scored by the academic team.

Each academic department will give prizes for postgraduate courses according to the following standards:

1. Previous experience and potential are outlined in the supporting statement.
