Gates Cambridge scholarship 2025 in UK fully funded
The fully financed Gates Cambridge Scholarship will be available to international students in 2025–2026. There are scholarships available for doctorate and master’s programs. This scholarship provides up to £15,612 in family allowance, health insurance, up to £2,000 in aid for academic improvement, and an annual stipend of £18,744.

There are no Gates Cambridge Scholarships available for the following courses
- Any undergraduate degree, including a second BA or an undergraduate BA affiliated with another BA
- Doctorate in Business (BSD)
- MBA (Master of Business)
- MFin, or Master of Finance
- MD Clinical Studies PGCE a six-year, part-time degree in medicine
- Advanced Medical Course (A101)
- Degrees earned part-time
- courses without a degree
Coverage of Scholarships
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship benefits from the following:
- The composition of institutions and how much they charge.
- Doctorate researchers are eligible to receive maintenance funds for one student for a maximum of four years. It is £18,744 for twelve months at the 2022–2025 rate (pro rata for courses less than twelve months).
- One economy flight each way at the beginning and end of the course.
- The price of the inbound visa fees and the Immigration Health Surcharge.
- Academic Development Funding: Depending on the duration of your course, you may be able to receive up to £2,000 for conference and course attendance.
- Up to £10,944 for one child and up to £15,612 for two or more is the family allowance (2022–25 rate). A partner receives no funding.
- Fieldwork: You can keep your usual maintenance pay while you are undertaking fieldwork for your PhD. The University Composition Fee should pay for additional fieldwork expenses rather than the Trust.
- Applying for maternity/paternity finance enables you to put your studies on hold for up to six months while still earning your maintenance allowance, should the need arise.
- Financial assistance for unknown difficulties that the student faces.

- The ability to take charge.
- Applicants who wish to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree must be nationals of countries other than the United Kingdom.
